Calling all knitters!
If you would like a new project, join our group of knitters creating garments for distribution to hospitals that care for premature babies.
All it requires is a little of your time doing something that you enjoy.
Any patterns suitable for very small babies can be used.
You can also collect patterns at the Inverloch Lions Farmers market held on the last Sunday of the month at the Inverloch Glade.
Garments are made in 3, 4 or 5 ply.
Finished garments can either be dropped off at the market or other arrangements can be made by calling Dawn on (03) 5662 5578 or 0428 625 578
Read2Me123
At our August Sunday market, we gave away 4 boxes of free books.
It’s all part of the Lions ‘Read2me123 Project’.
We collect good quality children’s books, then sort and distribute them to families that want books in their home.
The donation collection points are at both the Bunurong Environment Centre & our regular monthly market in the Inverloch Glade.
Books have been distributed at the market, as well as five playgroups and a childcare centre.
They will also go to kindergartens & schools in the area.
